Weekly Update

Room 2's Movement Minutes   

Thank you for sending in your child's movement minutes sheet. Room 3 completed 12,413 total movement minutes! Outstanding work. 

Temperature Tracking 

We began tracking the weather this week. We started to observe a few different trends throughout each day. Next week, students will get to go outside and estimate the temperature then track the actual temperature.  

Venn Diagrams 

This week we created a triple Venn Diagram as a class, comparing the bat, deer, and lynx ears we discussed previously. Students also added a few characteristics that were either similar or different between the three. 

Other Learning

On the Weekend - Using Both Transition & Descriptive Words

Journalling Technique - Arrows (for when we run out of room and need to present our work clearly)

Sharing Circle - We ended our day Friday by sharing our favourite part of the week. Everyone participated, and there were many happy moments shared. 

Reminders:

- Please send an extra mask with your child each day. 

- Students will be going outside each day! Please make sure they have appropriate clothing.
