Hello Families, 


Here is some information to keep you up to date:

Scholastic Orders
Scholastic orders are due on the last day of the month, October 31, 2018. Please submit your online order before then if you would like to purchase anything! Thank you. 

Library
We have started to take books out from the LBS school library again! :) Our library time has changed to Thursday afternoons until further notice. Please make sure your child has his or her book on Thursday so they can select a new book to take home. Library books are based around student interest to build an enjoyment in reading, therefore, home reading should still be a regular part of your routine. 

Assembly 
Our assembly is tomorrow (Thursday, Oct 25) at 10:15am! It should be about 30 minutes long. If you'd like to attend come to the front office and there will be greeters ready to guide you to the gymnasium. 

Field Trip - Arts Commons
Our next field trip is to Arts Commons, where we will be participating in One Day Art School. On Tuesday, November 27th, we will be going to Arts Commons to do a One Day Arts School where we will participate in two custom designed multi-disciplinary (drama, dance, music, art, multimedia) workshops taught by professional artists that use the arts to explore our learning!  Please let me know if you would like to be a volunteer!

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Will be taking place on November 22 and November 23. More information about booking will come closer to those dates. If you are interested in volunteering with the Scholastic Book Fair over these days please let me know and I will pass your information along to the coordinator.
